The New Zealand government has reinstated a key housing policy called the Medium Density Residential Standards (MDRS).

This rule allows most residential areas in cities to build up to three homes, three storeys high, without needing complex consents.

根据Quotable Value(QV)最新发布的房价指数,截至2025年4月底,新西兰全国住宅平均价值在过去三个月内仅增长了0.1%,达到914,504纽币。
According to the latest House Price Index released by Quotable Value (QV), as of the end of April 2025, the average residential value across New Zealand increased by only 0.1% over the past three months, reaching NZD 914,504.

Compared to the same period last year, this figure represents a decrease of 1.33%.
