Whether you’re heading out on the ultimate Oman road trip or simply taking a day trip from Muscat, the capital city, this beautiful and diverse stretch of coastline is not to be missed.

Located in Sharqiya, the southeastern region of the Arabian Peninsula, the Muscat–Sur Coastal Road offers visitors a glimpse of both old and new Oman. While Muscat itself has plenty to explore, a journey along the coast reveals even more.

Along the way, stops include Quriyat, the Bimmah Sinkhole, Wadi Shab, Tiwi, Fins and numerous ‘getaway’ beaches all enroute to the beautiful coastal town of Sur.
