**A Little Update for Airbnb Hosts and Travelers – From Bocas Relp**

As you know, at Bocas Relp, we don't just take care of your property. We also help with long-term rentals and short-term holiday rentals through platforms such as Airbnb.

Part of our service is keeping property owners informed about changes and developments that may affect their rentals. So today, we would like to share a little Airbnb update with you!

Airbnb is introducing new cleaning guidelines, which will also apply here in Panama to reservations booked from November 20, 2026.

The idea is simple: travelers should be able to enjoy their holiday without having a long cleaning checklist waiting for them before departure.

Under the new guidelines, hosts should no longer require travelers to:

- Wash and put away dishes
- Strip the beds
- Take garbage off the property

Of course, this doesn't mean leaving everything behind in a mess! Small gestures of consideration are still appreciated, such as placing used dishes in the sink, putting garbage in designated bins, and leaving the accommodation in a reasonable condition.

Especially here in our beautiful Bocas del Toro, where we live so closely with nature, proper waste disposal is important to avoid attracting insects and other wildlife.

At the end of the day, it's about finding a happy balance between travelers enjoying their well-deserved holiday and property owners knowing their homes are treated with care and respect.
