Bilingual Caretaker Couple Wanted
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and bilingual caretaker, preferably a couple, to help look after our small, charming hotel.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, meeting guests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is intended to be a long-term position for the right candidates, subject to a successful working relationship and mutual satisfaction.

Main responsibilities
- Welcome guests and help ensure they have a pleasant and enjoyable stay
- Assist guests with organizing tours and transfers
- Recommend restaurants, activities, and local attractions
- Provide helpful information and respond to guests’ questions
- Serve breakfast daily, clear tables, and provide kitchen support as needed
- Prepare breakfast and assist with housekeeping on Sundays
- Help supervise and coordinate the garden staff
- Keep the swimming pool clean, we will provide instructions on the pool system
- Have a basic understanding of the water pump system, internet routers, propane connections, and other basic property systems
- Contact the appropriate professional when specialized repairs or technical assistance are needed
- Ensure that doors are closed and the property is secure during the day
- Make sure the property is properly locked and secure each evening
- Be attentive to the general comfort, safety, and well-being of our guests
A separate staff member will be responsible for cleaning the guest rooms during the week. However, housekeeping assistance will be required on Sundays.
Ideal candidates
We are looking for people who are:
- Honest, trustworthy, and responsible
- Friendly, welcoming, and respectful
- Proactive and comfortable assisting international guests
- Practical and willing to learn about the property’s basic systems
- Fluent in English and Spanish, or comfortable communicating in both languages
- Experienced in hospitality, guest services, or property management, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important
