When I was studying Nursing in SLU Baguio, I rented a boarding house with other students in the room. The toilet and bathroom of our boarding house are one, so we are in line every day.
I'm an OFW Nurse now and when I learned that there is an investment property for rent in Baguio, my sister and I immediately got an OFW. This additional source of our income can be, apart from our salary as OFWs. We can rent this as a dorm, on airbnb and we can use it when we get home while no one is using it. My sister and I were happy because we can still use this collateral in the bank to source additional capital for the additional units that we want to get. Our friend has already tried to rent his unit near Burnham Park and he has good returns. This way, our work here abroad can go somewhere and we can't afford all the expenses that have no end.
