𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀.
With grateful hearts, we dedicate our first Asia Pacific Tambuli Award for Leaders for Corporate Purpose under the Inclusive Growth category to the farmers behind DMCI Homes’ Weekend Market with Benguet Farmers.
What began as a simple idea to support the farmers of Moncello Crest’s host community in Tuba, Benguet grew into something deeply meaningful.
For a year now, weekend after weekend, our communities have welcomed the farmers of Benguet not only as sellers, but as partners, storytellers, and friends.
Through this initiative, in partnership with the Tuba Agri-Tourism Community (TATC), fresh produce has made its way from the highlands straight to our communities, helping farmers earn more through direct access to consumers while reducing wastage amid challenges of oversupply.
At the same time, our residents gain access to fresh, high-quality produce, strengthening everyday connections between those who grow food and those who enjoy it.
This Tambuli Award honors our shared purpose. It affirms the dignity of livelihood, the importance of fair opportunities, and the power of genuine connection between urban communities and our farmers.
It reminds us that when we listen, collaborate, and lead with integrity, meaningful and lasting change can take root.
To our Benguet farmers, this recognition belongs to you.
Your perseverance inspires us. Your trust humbles us. Your partnership grounds us in our purpose.
