The 721st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve, led by LCDR TRISTAN C TELENPN (Res), together with PO1 Jerry Espino and PO2 Ricky Canonigo, conducted a coordination meeting with the Philippine Army Reserve Component Development Group (RCDG), led by MAJ Briones and Sgt Roy Cabusao, to discuss safety procedures, protocols, and standard operating procedures for the upcoming first-ever Army and Navy joint exercise in Butuan City.

This initiative highlights the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ commitment to the principle of One AFP—not merely as a slogan, but through concrete action, cooperation, and shared training.

The activity aims to further develop the mental, physical, and professional capabilities of our reservists while strengthening camaraderie, interoperability, and mutual understanding between Army and Navy units.

Guided by the leadership of CDR CARLO D DACERA GSC, MNSA PN (Res), Officer-in-Charge, 721st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve, this partnership serves as a platform for both services to learn from one another, exchange best practices, sharpen operational readiness, and grow stronger together in service of God, Country, and People.

The 721st Naval Squadron Reserve, through its focal persons PO1 Jerry Espina and PO2 Ricky Canonigo, coordinated with ERPATS MOVE Caraga President Dir. Tristan C. Telen, PhD, LCDR PN (Res), for the conduct of a soon-to-be institutionalized Free Medical Check-Up and Free Medicine Program for reservists.

This initiative is undertaken under the guidance and directives of CDR CARLO D DACERA GSC, MNSA, PN (Res), Commanding Officer, 721st Naval Squadron Reserve, as part of the unit’s continuing commitment to the welfare of its personnel.

Beyond training, capacity building, and operational readiness, the Squadron recognizes that the health and well-being of every reservist remain essential components of mission effectiveness. Through programs such as this, the unit seeks to demonstrate that care for its personnel is not merely expressed in words, but manifested through concrete action.

The 721st Naval Squadron Reserve remains committed to strengthening a culture where every reservist is valued, supported, and cared for—physically, professionally, and personally.

“No Brother Left Behind—Not On The Battlefield, Not In Life.”

MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

Men are often taught to endure.

To stay strong.
To keep moving.
To carry the mission no matter how heavy the burden becomes.

For those who wear the uniform, the expectation is often even greater.

Yet behind every rank, every salute, every mission, and every achievement is a human being carrying battles that others may never see.

If you are struggling, remember this:

You do not have to fight every battle alone.

Seeking support is not weakness.
Speaking up is not surrender.
Asking for help does not diminish your strength.

True courage is not the absence of hardship.
True courage is continuing the mission while having the humility to lean on your brothers when needed.

To every officer, enlisted personnel, reservist, veteran, father, husband, son, and brother:

Your life matters.
Your well-being matters.
You matter.

As members of the 721st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve, let us continue to watch over one another—not only in operations and training, but also in the unseen battles of life.

No brother left behind.

Together we endure.
Together we heal.
Together we move forward.

⚓ Strength. Brotherhood. Service.

⚓ 721st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve
Opening of Specialized Training Courses | CL 01-2026

The 721st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve proudly marks the opening of three specialized capability-development courses for Class 01-2026:

▪️ Disaster Emergency Assistance and Response Training (DEART)
▪️ Information Collection Training
▪️ Explosive Ordnance Training

These trainings are more than academic exercises. They are preparations for real missions, real crises, and real service to the Filipino people.

From disaster response and rescue operations…
to intelligence and information gathering…
to explosive ordnance awareness and operational readiness…

our reservists continue to sharpen the skills, discipline, and mindset required of modern naval warriors and public servants.

In a world of uncertainty, preparedness is power.
In times of danger, training becomes survival.
And in moments of national need, competence saves lives.

The 721st remains committed to building reservists who are not only physically capable, but mentally resilient, mission-ready, and driven by duty beyond self.

Train hard. Serve harder.
Semper Paratus.
