As part of the Earth Day 2026 celebration, the DCC-AISA conducted a ๐‘ช๐’๐’†๐’‚๐’-๐‘ผ๐’‘ ๐‘ซ๐’“๐’Š๐’—๐’† ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘จ๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š ๐‘ฌ๐’„๐’ ๐‘ท๐’‚๐’“๐’Œ ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’‚๐’–๐’•๐’Š๐’‡๐’Š๐’„๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐‘จ๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’Š๐’•๐’š, turning commitment into concrete action.

Participants actively engaged in cleaning the campus, particularly in the landscaping areas and outside the campus fence. Plastic wastes were collected, sorted, and repurposed by placing them into 1.5-liter bottles for recycling. โ™ป๏ธ

The activity also included weeding, watering of ornamental plants, and planting of additional greenery such as roses, contributing to the restoration and enhancement of the areaโ€™s natural beauty. ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒฟ Environmental posters were likewise installed to promote awareness and responsibility within the campus.

After the activity, a Zumba session was conducted to energize the participants and promote wellness. ๐Ÿ’ƒ

The event concluded with a Closing Program, where Mr. Noel B. Pardeรฑo, SAS Coordinator, acknowledged the organizationโ€™s efforts in environmental action and emphasized the importance of responding to the call for environmental protection. The BSA Program Head also delivered the closing remarks, reminding participants to apply their learnings in caring for and protecting Mother Earth. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’š

Through unity and collective effort, DCC-AISA continues to take meaningful steps toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable campus.

The DCC-AISA proudly celebrated Earth Day 2026 with the theme ๐‘ฉ๐‘ฌ๐‘ฌ๐‘บ: ๐‘ฉ๐’† ๐‘ฌ๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’‰๐’๐’š, ๐‘ฌ๐’๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’†, ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘บ๐’–๐’”๐’•๐’‚๐’Š๐’.โ€

The activity began with an Opening Program followed by an Environmental Session led by the organizationโ€™s adviser, Mr. Chad Khin L. Sampaga, who highlighted the real environmental challenges observed on campusโ€”such as improper waste disposal, plastic pollution, and neglected spaces.

The session encouraged participants to reflect on a critical question:

Malampuson nga nahuman ang Culmination Program sa atong Agriculture Interns gikan sa University of Southeastern Philippines - Mabini Campus ug Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa, Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology - Masbate.

Kini nga kalihokan nagtimaan sa pagtapos sa ilang internship, dala ang kahibalo nga ilang nakuha sulod sa 240 ka oras nga pagpundo dinhi sa Octa-M Farm. Gikan sa mga estudyante, sila karon nagpadayon isip umaabot nga mga mag-uuma sa kausaban. Ang matag leksyon nga ilang natun-an karon mamunga og kalampusan.

Ang Octa-M Farm usab mapasalamaton, kauban ang atong School Administrator, Mr. Herv Martelle Z. Apsay, L.Agr., sa mga nakigduyog sa selebrasyon sa kalampusan sa mga interns. Anaa usab ang presensya ug suporta ni Mr. Lauro Aguanta, OJT Coordinator sa USEP-Mabini, ug Mr. Dernie Olguera, Program Head, alang sa ilang padayon nga paggiya ug suporta sa mga interns niining makahuluganon nga kalihokan.

Sa ilang pagpadayon sa larangan sa agrikultura, ilang dala ang kahibalo, kahanas, ug tinguha sa pagpauswag sa kaugmaon. Gikan sa binhi sa kahibalo padulong sa uma sa katuyoan, usa ka sinugdanan sa mas malambuong dalan padulong sa mabungahong kaugmaon.

The DCC-AISA proudly presents its newly constructed project โ€” ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐†๐‘๐„๐„๐๐‹๐ˆ๐๐Š: ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž-๐“๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ.

This initiative was proposed by Jhanus M. Abella (Freshmen Representative), Lorenzo Nonay, and Angel Mae Retuerto (Members), and was supported and funded by the DCC-AISA Officers with a budget of โ‚ฑ5,000.

Through the collaborative efforts of BSA First Year student the project was successfully completed despite limited resources. Their resourcefulness, creativity, and dedication made this achievement possible.

๐ŸŒฑ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐†๐‘๐„๐„๐๐‹๐ˆ๐๐Š serves multiple purposes:

1. Provides shelter for students during rainy days
2. Serves as a venue for activities and events.
3. Features trellis structures on both sides for growing vining crops
4. Includes space for potted plants, promoting a greener campus environment
5. Helps the Institute comply with AACCUP accreditation requirements, providing a much-needed covered pathway

This project stands as a testament to student initiative, unity, and innovation in agriculture.
