Seven years ago, a fur parent gifted herself something far more precious than any diploma—her dog, Asher.

Asher isn’t your ordinary dog. From day one, he had this natural magnetism that drew people in. They would bring him to public events and bazaars, and he quickly became a crowd favorite. Customers would flock to our booth just to see him—some even joked that Asher was the real product on display! Vendors and organizers would “borrow” him to draw in crowds, and without fail, his presence always added that special spark. He’s a chill, smart boy who somehow knows when to pose for the camera, when to nap beside his fur parent, and when she need a silent comforter.

When college life began, Asher moved with her, becoming her anchor through stress and solitude. Though cryptorchid and infertile, he’s never lacked value—his love and loyalty are lived daily.

Now, Asher continues to steal hearts. He’s her calm in the chaos, her co-star, and one of her truest companions.

Mont Property Group Issues Statement on Alleged Tree Cutting at Monterazzas de Cebu

Mont Property Group released an official statement on Friday in response to recent allegations regarding tree cutting at the Monterazzas de Cebu development, categorically denying claims that over 700 trees were removed.

The developer emphasized that it welcomes any impartial investigation by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and clarified that only shrubs and secondary undergrowth were cleared, in full compliance with their approved Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and relevant permits. Mont Property Group further refuted claims suggesting that the city’s recent widespread flooding is linked to the project.

SM City Cebu Unwraps the Gift of Grace, Lighting Hope for Cebu

SM City Cebu unveils a heartfelt celebration that shines brighter than ever this holiday season, not just with lights and grandeur but with grace and the enduring spirit of hope.

Following the recent calamities, SM City Cebu proudly presents Unwrapping the Gift of Grace and Hope on November 13, 2025, a touching musical production that celebrates kindness, generosity, and the strength that binds communities together. A 30-foot Christmas tree now stands and glows at the North Wing Atrium, a symbol of light, hope, and renewal.

The lighting of SM City Cebu’s grand centerpiece signals the start of a more meaningful unified campaign, All SM Malls Unite for Cebu, a moving nationwide tribute that symbolizes hope and solidarity. The initiative featured key components such as the cash donation booths set up in SM malls nationwide to aid affected communities, the green illumination where the facades of five SM Supermalls — SM Mall of Asia, SM Aura, SM Megamall, SM Seaside City Cebu, and SM Lanang, simultaneously glowed in vibrant green to represent hope, healing, and renewal, and the LED walls across SM malls flashing the official campaign ad to amplify the message of unity and compassion.

Amid the recent disasters, SM also opened its doors as a refuge, extended relief operations, and worked with partners and volunteers to support rebuilding efforts.These quiet acts reflect how grace and hope, when shared, have the power to heal and uplift entire communities.

Through SM Foundation and SM Cares, the company reaffirmed its dedication to community rebuilding and proactive disaster response, donating 8,000 Kalinga Packs through Operation Tulong Express, and deployment of the SM Mobile Clinic to provide essential health services.

During the program, SM City Cebu expressed gratitude to responders, volunteers, and everyday heroes who stood strong for the community. As a gesture of appreciation, the mall extended 200 Bundles of Hope to the CCDRRMO, BFP Mabolo, PNP Mabolo, and Barangay Mabolo BRRMO, and Welfare Workers.
