Following the latest update from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), limited generation across the Visayas Grid continues due to the non-availability of imported power from the Mindanao Grid.
As a result, a scheduled one-hour rotational brownout is being implemented to help balance the available power supply with current demand and maintain overall grid stability.

As of this time, the Visayas Grid remains under πππ₯π₯π¨π° ππ₯ππ«π Status, which means power supply is currently sufficient but with limited reserve capacity.
To keep everyone informed and prepared, please be advised that if the grid status escalates to πππ ππ₯ππ«π, which means power demand is higher than the available supply, rotational brownouts π¦ππ² ππ π’π¦π©π₯ππ¦ππ§πππ to help maintain overall grid stability.
If a Red Alert is declared, the following areas may experience rotational brownouts:
