COMMUNITY ADVISORY | Residents May Now Return to Their Units

Verdon Parc’s Property Management Team is pleased to share that residents have safely returned to their respective units and are gradually resuming their normal daily routines. Water service to residential units has also been restored. Residents who opted to take temporary shelter elsewhere, including with relatives or in other accommodations, may return at their convenience.

While residents have returned home, clearing and housekeeping activities in the property's common areas will continue tomorrow to further restore affected areas and maintain a safe environment for the community.

As part of our ongoing commitment to resident safety, Verdon Parc will continue to work closely with the Davao City Office of the City Building Official (OCBO), Structural Consultants, Design & Engineering (D&E), and other relevant authorities as further assessments and monitoring activities proceed.

EARTHQUAKE ADVISORY | Debris Cleaning and Safety Measures Ongoing

The Davao City Office of the City Building Official (OCBO) has completed its initial visual inspection of the affected areas within Verdon Parc. Initial observations were limited to non-structural cracks, damaged architectural finishes, and debris caused by the recent earthquake.

At present, debris clearing, housekeeping, and hazard mitigation activities are ongoing to ensure that affected areas are safe and ready for residents’ return. As these activities are still underway, residents are requested to remain in the designated assembly areas until further notice.

To support affected residents during this time, the Property Management Office (PMO) has provided food packs and drinking water while waiting for clearing and safety activities to be completed.

In accordance with OCBO recommendations, Verdon Parc will also undertake a formal Structural and Architectural Safety Assessment by qualified engineering professionals to further evaluate the condition, structural integrity, and safety of the affected building areas. The property likewise remains in close coordination with Structural Consultants, Design & Engineering (D&E), and relevant regulatory authorities for further assessment and recommendations.

We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we complete the necessary safety measures. A follow-up advisory will be issued once clearing operations have been completed and additional guidance becomes available.

EARTHQUAKE ADVISORY | June 8, 2026

Following the magnitude 6.7 earthquake felt in Davao City at approximately 7:38 AM today, Verdon Parc immediately activated its emergency response protocols.

Residents were safely evacuated to designated assembly areas while the Property Management Office (PMO), Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Security Personnel commenced inspections of the property’s facilities and critical building systems. As of this writing, no injuries or casualties have been reported.

Assessments remain ongoing, and residents are advised to remain in designated assembly areas while monitoring for possible aftershocks continues.
