Kawit Kalayaan Hospital is a public healthcare facility located along ToclongโSan Sebastian Road. It serves residents of Kawit and nearby communities by providing accessible medical, diagnostic, and emergency services. As an accredited hospital and infirmary, it helps make essential healthcare more accessible and affordable, particularly for PhilHealth members.
The hospital began as a modest 10- to 25-bed primary care facility. Over the years, it has undergone significant rehabilitation and expansion in response to the growing healthcare needs of Kawit and surrounding communities. The former facility faced limitations in space, aging infrastructure, and inadequate equipment, which often meant that patients requiring specialized care had to be referred to larger hospitals.
In March 2026, the expanded facility was launched, marking a significant milestone in the hospitalโs development. The expansion includes a new hospital building, an upgraded Primary Care Facility, and a Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Service (BUCAS) Center established in collaboration with Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital. Legislative efforts are also underway to further upgrade the facility into a 100-bed Level II/III district hospital.
