The cadets and cadettes of the Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officersโ Training Corps Unit (FBC ROTCU) participated in a film showing of We Were Soldiers, followed by a reflection activity.
The film provided the cadets and cadettes with meaningful lessons on leadership, courage, teamwork, discipline, sacrifice, loyalty, and responsibility. It allowed them to look beyond the scenes of battle and understand the importance of strong leadership, unity, and concern for others.
After the film showing, the cadets and cadettes shared their reflections and insights, connecting the lessons portrayed in the movie to their own journey as ROTC cadets. The activity served as a reminder that military training is not only about physical strength, but also about building character, developing responsible leaders, and preparing individuals for service.
The activity was held under the presence of CPT AARON L MALLORCA PA (Res), ROTCU Commandant, and under the supervision of 1LT JESUS WENDELL AREVALO (INF) PA, ROTCU ASCOM.
Also providing guidance and support throughout the activity were the TAC NCOs, Sgt Israel B Diaz PA (Res) and Sgt Joemarie L Mi-ot PA (Res), together with the GMA, Pfc Johnfrel P Garnica PA (Res) and Pfc Dave F Nobleza PA (Res).
Through activities like this, FBC ROTCU continues to develop cadets and cadettes who are not only physically prepared, but also mentally resilient, disciplined, responsible, and ready to serve.
