𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || 𝐅𝐁𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 9𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Fellowship Baptist College (FBC) Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCU) successfully conducted its ninth weekly formation for the second semester.

The activity commenced early in the morning with a reveille led by ROTC officers composed of First Class (1CL), Second Class (2CL), and Third Class (3CL) cadets. This was followed by a series of physical conditioning exercises, including stretching routines, the Army Dozen, and a road run. These activities were designed to strengthen discipline, endurance, and the cadets’ readiness to face both physical and mental challenges.

As part of the formation, the cadets performed key drills such as pasa masid (pass and review) and pagsasanay ng harap-harapan (facing and pacing). These exercises served to evaluate the cadets’ discipline, coordination, and overall performance, reinforcing their commitment to the principles of nationalism and patriotism.

The unit was honored by the presence and support of 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐁 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐳 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, and 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐢-𝐨𝐭 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, who served as the unit’s 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 (𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐬), providing guidance and supervision throughout the activity.

The Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (FBC ROTCU) proudly rendered honors through the exemplary performance of its Color Guards during the 11th Moving-Up Ceremony for the Junior High School and the 9th Commencement Exercises of the High School Department, held on March 30 and 31, 2026.

The ceremony featured Cdt Hans Shyron Perono, 2CL, who served as Color Officer for the Moving-Up Ceremony, and Cdt Dave Anthony Camonias, 2CL, who led as Color Officer during the Commencement Exercises. Both officers demonstrated commendable leadership and precision in the ex*****on of their duties.

During the ceremonies, the Color Guards carried and presented the colors with utmost dignity and excellence, bearing both the Philippine flag and the school flag with synchronized movements and disciplined composure. Their performance exemplified not only technical proficiency but also the core values of patriotism, respect, and honor upheld by the ROTC Unit.

The rendering of colors remains a time-honored tradition symbolizing loyalty, discipline, and collective identity. Through their outstanding participation, the FBC ROTCU once again affirmed its unwavering commitment to excellence, service, and leadership.

On 28 March 2026, the Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (FBC ROTCU) conducted its 8th Weekly Formation for the Second Semester.

In compliance with the culmination of ROTC Month, the unit formally executed a Flag Raising Ceremony, signifying patriotism, unity, and commitment to national service.

The activity included an instructional lecture on the M16 rifle delivered by 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐋 𝐌𝐢-𝐨𝐭 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀 and 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐌 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐨 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, aimed at enhancing cadets’ knowledge, discipline, and operational readiness.

Present during the activity were 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, and 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐋 𝐌𝐢-𝐨𝐭 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐀, serving as the Unit Tactical Non-Commissioned Officer, with the support of GMAs who assisted in supervision and control.

The entire activity was conducted under the leadership and supervision of 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐋 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒) 𝐏𝐀, Commandant, ensuring the efficient and orderly ex*****on of the overall activity.

The Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (FBC ROTC Unit) rendered a Cross-Swords Ceremony during the Completion Exercises and Graduation Ceremony of San Ramon Catholic School on March 27, 2026, held at the Su-ay Covered Court, Brgy. Su-ay, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.

Also known as the Saber Arch, the ceremony symbolizes honor, respect, and the graduates’ transition into a new phase of life. The cadets demonstrated precision and discipline as they formed the ceremonial arch.

The formation, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 (1𝐂𝐋) and 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 (2𝐂𝐋) 𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬, was supervised by 𝐒𝐠𝐭. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬 (𝐑𝐞𝐬) 𝐏𝐚, Tactical Non-Commissioned Officer of the FBC ROTC Unit.

The unit expresses its gratitude to San Ramon Catholic School for the warm welcome and accommodation. The opportunity to take part in this milestone is sincerely appreciated.

The FBC ROTC Unit remains committed to service, leadership, and the preservation of military traditions.

With discipline evident and purpose clearly defined, cadets and cadettes of the Fellowship Baptist College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (FBC ROTCU) undertook their Second Semester Midterm Examinations on March 21, 2026, at the FBC Gymnasium. The activity marked not only an academic requirement but also a reaffirmation of the unit’s commitment to holistic leadership formation anchored in principled followership.

The examination focused on the fundamental principles of followership, particularly the “𝐓𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬,” underscoring the essential role of disciplined and responsible followers in the development of effective leaders. This emphasis reflects a core tenet of military training—that leadership is not solely defined by authority, but by one’s capacity to support, collaborate, and uphold duties with integrity and accountability.

Throughout the examination, cadets and cadettes demonstrated composure, preparedness, and intellectual engagement. The atmosphere within the gymnasium was marked by order and seriousness, indicative of a well-disciplined and professionally guided corps.
