One of the key distinctions of a DMCI Homes condominium is those huge holes on its facade. Others find it iconic, and some may find it odd, but only few know what they are for and that it actually brings positive effects on the health of the residents inside.

Those huge holes are called “sky patios.” sky patios are three-story high openings that let the natural light and fresh air to get through inside the building. Inside those sky patios are landscaped atriums, a pleasing garden in the middle of the corridors where the air passes through, built in every five floors of the buildings. Lastly, with the help of the breezeways and vents on both sides, the wind passing through creates positive and negative areas delivering fresh air to the units while pushing out the polluted and moldy air. This makes the building function like it’s breathing.

All those features combined are the smart and unique engineering which we call “Lumiventt Design Technology.” It came from the words “lumen” meaning light and “ventus” meaning wind. This technology’s main purpose is to “take advantage of the natural air and light pass through the buildings” giving the occupants better air conditioning despite living in high-rise condominiums.

With the Lumiventt Design Technology, residents of DMCI Homes condominiums get to have fresh air indoors and more exposure to sunshine. These advantages let them enjoy multiple health benefits such as better sleep, lesser stress, and a sense of clarity.
