Police forces recently arrested boutique owner and AXA executive Maria Mia Urquico at her MICO store in EDSA Shangri-La Mall in Mandaluyong. The arrest was made on the strength of a warrant issued by the City of Manila RTC branch 39 signed by Judge Maria Lourdes Mislang.

This stemmed from Urquico's false claim, made under oath, that her husband had planted ma*****na in her luggage. These allegations were proven to be untrue.

Additionally, Urquico also has a pending perjury complaint in Mandaluyong City for falsely claiming that her brother was the owner of her husband’s property.

A video that went viral last year showed the Urquico family plotting to fraudulently claim ownership of other people’s property.
