Driving around Kapitolyo today reminded me of what Poblacion felt like 15–20 years ago before the crowds, hype, and chaos took over.

Back then it was still mostly a quiet neighborhood with a few interesting spots beginning to appear. That’s the feeling Kapitolyo gives me today.

New restaurants everywhere. Modern developments rising beside old homes. You can feel more people paying attention to the area.
