39 Things I Want to Share at 39 Years old:

It’s my birthday! I have now 21 years left before I become a senior citizen. Life just moves so fast. Some of the items here are things that are real to me and I just want to share them as I hope that this brings value to people who may need this today

1. Life is too short to not do the things that make you feel alive.

2. That’s why you also have to disregard the crowd, the noise and everything else that does not matter.

3. Learn from the past, plan and prepare for the future but live in the moment because you never know how long that moment will last.

4. Just focus on what you need to do, your goals, your plans your dreams. Stop looking at what your friends are doing. Stop comparing. Do you.

5. You don’t have to buy stuff to make you feel rich. Your value is more than what you wear or what you can show off to people who don’t even care about you. Don’t give in to that trap.

6. Keep on going, never stop, don’t quit. No matter what people say (good or bad) just focus on moving forward. Sometimes it’s not about living fast but it’s just about staying the course and continually moving forward.

7. If you must, go to where you are treated best. It does not make sense to spend your years in a place where you don’t become the best version of yourself, you get held back or if the collective values no longer resonate as yours.

8. Live for something that is bigger and greater than you. Give yourself for a cause that counts.

9. Life isn’t just for taking, a well lived life is something where you give from the overflow. As much as you can and as often as you can.

10. People will give you their opinion because it worked for them but it does not mean that they are right. If their opinion was the only way then everyone would be like Warren Buffett, Steph Curry or CZ. The truth is, it’s not a one size fit all strategy. Politely nod but chew the meat and throw the bones.

11. Life can be too long also that you need to save and invest right now. The best time to start is always now.

12. Saving and investing is always a good idea regardless if the economy is good or bad.

13. It’s still better to have an asset / investment that has the potential to go down than “stuff” that will be worth zero over the long term.

14. People say investing is risky but in reality not investing is riskier.

15. It’s okay to be the odd and boring person in the group. If that means you get to have more savings and investments than them.

16. Bitcoin is the most secure, most decentralized asset ever. 1 Bitcoin = 1 Bitcoin. Whatever gold or real estate can do, Bitcoin can do 100x over. It’s just new that is why it is volatile, similar to any new technology at its infancy. But when you focus on the tech you will realize that it is game changing technology that gives normal people a shot to own a digital form of property that they can send across the web on a Saturday at 11pm when most traditional financial Institutions are closed. Ethereum and other Smart Contract blockchains will be the foundation in which most Apps will be built on.

17. Amazing companies that have stood the test of time like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Nike, Starbucks, Coke, McDonalds, Disney, Proctor & Gamble, Uniliever, Nestle and other amazing companies that have strong brands and amazing track records are worth holding on to even if there is volatility and even if the economic condition is scary. Good companies always go back overtime. Again owning Apple stock will be worth more than an Apple Iphone.

18. Dividend stocks of great companies are amazing too. They have the potential to give you passive income for life. Don’t underestimate its massive power.

19. The more you realize that you need to focus more on your personal economy (things you can control) than the macro economy (ie. things you can’t control - inflation, interedt rates, GDP, etc) the better you will be.

20. Money is important but you have to realize that time is more important than money. Money that you lose you can always earn back but time that you lose you can never earn back.

21. To balance things out though, if you are starting out in life trade time for money but make sure you massively save and invest so as you get older you don’t have to trade time for money. Better have the option to be able to stop working whenever you want when you want.

22. If you are just starting out, work hard. Hustle always wins. Of course you need to work smart too but if you have not much resources or connections to start with, working hard will set you apart from everyone else.

23. As you get older, you have to realize that active income is good but it’s not sustainable because you are trading time for money and you won’t be able to multiply and leverage yourself. You only have 24 hours and you can’t work for 24 hours. Don’t fall in love with just purely having active income.

24. The name of the game is having as much assets as you can because it’s these assets that will help you when you can no longer help yourself.

25. Passion is everything. Given the choice to get 1 Billion doing something I hate vs 100 Million doing something I love, I would pick getting 90% less but loving every moment of my waking days.

26. When you love what you do, you do not need a vacation to escape life as you will never burn out. You can get tired and may work massively hard but it will never be like toiling or a burden for you.

27. Learn to discern who your real friends are because they will stick to you in good times and bad times not just the ones who need or want something from you as they are the ones who will abandon you when it is convenient to them.

28. As you grow older, you realize that your past failures and mistakes helped form you to become a better entrepreneur, investor and professional.

29. The younger you are, just keep on trying and keep on learning. Don’t be scared to make mistakes.

30. Don’t also chase after the money, when you are younger chase after learning, skill and being a better version of yourself. The better you become, the better your potential to earn.

31. Always give more value than what you are paid for.

32 It’s not true what they taught us growing up that when you fail you lose, rather it’s what you do when you fail that defines who you are and how you bounce back from failure.

33. Keep on doing what you need to do even if no one is watching or even if 1 million people follow you. Ultimately your destination is never about how many people follow you or watch you.

34. Babies are amazing and are a bundles of joy (Little Satoshi is the best) but never ever let people around you pressure you to have one. Specially if they are not the ones paying or even raising your baby. Having a baby is a long term commitment

35. Also never ever let anyone condemn you or make you feel down just because you don’t have kids. Whether you choose to have one or not.

36. Also your kids are not your investments. Don’t treat them as your cashcow. Work so hard right now so you don’t have to rely on them in your old age. Better be the one that has excess that you can be a blessing to them.

37. To backtrack don’t also go into massive debt and mortage your future just to send your children to a university you can’t afford. You also have to take care of your future. Education is a great equalizer but we are no longer in the 1970s that it is the only way for your children to be successful. They can go to schools you can afford, they can be scholars, they can work while studying or they can even work for businesses / institutions they want to be in the future or start interning at an early age.

38. Travel the world. Travelling is an expense but it will blow up your world and it will make you realize that you really haven’t done or seen much. Travelling will educate you more than what you could ever learn in some subjects in school.

39.It’s all by the Grace of God. When you think you don’t deserve the things that come your way it’s because you really never did. You get the good that you don’t deserve because Jesus got all the bad that you deserved.

That’s all for now! I hope this helps anyone reading this! That’s all I want! Have a great weekend everyone!
