71-YEAR-OLD SERVICE CREW

LOOK: A 71-year-old man who works as a service crew of a fastfood chain in Candon, Ilocos Sur earned praise on Monday.

Willie Baricawa was hired for the job last August 2022. Six years ago, he was an employee of Candon City Hall, Philippine Star reported.

Baricawa said that working as a service crew brings him joy as he gets to know customers everyday, the report added.

The 71-year-old grandfather of 13 went viral last month after a netizen posted his photos on Facebook.
