The celebration opened with a vibrant motorcade and banner unfolding, where participating teams โ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐, ๐๐๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐, ๐๐ฅ๐๐ณ๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ง, and ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฌ โ proudly showcased their banners, representing solidarity, resilience, and the competitive spirit of future electrical engineers. โก
Held at the SNSU Gymnasium, the Opening Salvo formally marked the beginning of the celebration through solemn and meaningful ceremonies. The invocation and Philippine National Anthem were gracefully led by the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐, followed by a multimedia presentation of the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ง that resonated with pride and passion among the participants.
Inspirational and welcoming remarks were delivered by ๐ด๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐ท. ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐, IIEE-CSC SDN VP for External Affairs, followed by the presentation of participating schools and chapters facilitated by ๐ด๐. ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐, IIEE-CSC SDN VP for Internal Affairs.
The participants were further inspired by the heartfelt message of ๐ฌ๐๐๐. ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐จ. ๐ซ๐๐๐, Chapter President of IIEEโSurigao del Norte Chapter, encouraging everyone to uphold excellence, integrity, and camaraderie throughout the celebration.
Adding prestige to the opening ceremony was the ceremonial lighting of the torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship led by ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ. ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐, symbolizing fairness, respect, and unity as the official competitions commenced. ๐ฅ
The excitement continued as the Socio-Cultural competitions brought the stage to life through vocal solo, vocal duet, hip-hop dance, and wannabe performances, showcasing the remarkable creativity and confidence of the participants. Simultaneously, the Academic Games tested the knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork of aspiring engineers in intellectually driven contests. ๐ง
Indeed, Day 1 of ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ set a powerful beginning to a celebration fueled by passion, excellence, and camaraderie.
