1️⃣ Get over your ego.
You are just a tiny, insignificant speck on a floating rock with 8,000,000,000 other people on it... You are not special.
That kind of hurts to hear, right?
Use that as fuel.
Prove that you are more than "just another real estate agent" or a "wannabe entrepreneur."
2️⃣ Do the dirty work.
Roll up your sleeves and dive into the trenches.
Your goal should be to find the most accomplished, knowledgeable person you can, and get a job working for them for cheap (or even for free!).
In Alex Hormozi's words, "you're in learning season, not earning season."
I promise, if you do this right, in 2 - 3 years, you will be where others who tried to do it by themselves are in 7 years.
3️⃣ Stay humble.
Embrace the humbling experience of living in a tiny apartment with 6 roommates and doing odd jobs to pay the bills – it's building the foundation for your future success.
When I first moved to NYC, I lived in an apartment in Koreatown with 3 roommates, I shared a bathroom with 17 other people, I did hand modeling gigs, construction jobs, and even got people to sign up at local gyms for a small referral fee... it wasn't glamorous, but it paid the bills (barely).
4️⃣ Be persistent.
Fortify your determination, and keep pushing forward. Persistence is the driving force that will carry you to success when others have given up.
Use the 3 Fs: follow up, follow through, and follow back.
