In 2019, my wife and I bought our first home while it was still pre-selling.
We were newly married, planning for our future, and honestly had no idea how fast life would move.
Fast forward to 2025, our daughter is now 5 years old, and we finally received the keys.
Looking back, the house itself wasn’t the biggest reason we bought.
We bought the location.
Close to major roads. Schools. Hospitals. Malls. Daily essentials. Those are the things that tend to make an area more livable and, over time, more valuable.
Now comes the fun part.. turning this empty house into a home.
This experience also changed how I look at real estate. Whenever I visit a project now, I pay more attention to the location than the finishes. You can always renovate a house. You can’t renovate its address.
That’s why I’m also keeping an eye on places like Bridgetowne, Nuvali, Pampanga, and Batangas.
