HOUSE CONSTRUCTION COST IN PAKISTAN (2022)
House construction cost is always the combination of grey structure cost and finishing cost. Construction of home structure is known as grey structure and amount paid to build grey structure is known as grey structure cost. Grey structure includes erecting walls, roof work, plastering and preparation of floors. Whereas finishing work includes the works like tile fixing, woodwork, false ceiling and interior and exterior finishing. Cost paid for finishing work is known as finishing cost. Here is the detail of house construction cost in Pakistan.
GREY STRUCTURE COST (per sq ft)
Per square feet cost of grey structure is Rs. 1750-2250 per square foot. The variation is due to the type of structure you want to build. Simple structure will cost Rs. 1750 per square foot, whereas detailed structures with arches and extra beams will cost Rs. 2250 per square foot.
FINISHING COST (per sq ft)
Per square feet cost of finishing is Rs. 1550-2050. The variation is due to the type of finishing you chose for your home. Normal finished will cost Rs. 1550 per square foot, whereas expensive or imported finishes will cost Rs. 2050 per square foot.
TOTAL HOME BUILDING COST
Total construction cost to build a house is in the range from 3300 PKR to 4300 PKR per square foot. This price variation depends on the type of structure you want to build and finishes you choose for your home.
