Every project begins with a client's requirements. Our role is to bring those requirements to life through planning, coordination, and ex*****on.

This residential project included bedroom interiors, custom furniture, wardrobes, feature walls, ceiling details, and lighting.

At KROFTONS, we undertake construction and renovation projects for homes and offices, working with clients to translate their requirements into finished spaces.

During our ongoing office renovation project for JE, electrical conduits, outlet points and ventilation ductwork are part of the work that needs to be coordinated as ceiling installation progresses.

Once the ceiling boards are installed, much of this work becomes hidden from view. But the quality of the finished space depends on getting these stages right.

Good renovation is not just about how a space looks at the end. It is also about the planning, coordination and ex*****on behind the finished surfaces.

From an existing kitchen to a completely reworked space.
One of the most significant transformations in Flat 303 was the kitchen.
Like many renovation projects, the finished result only tells part of the story.
Before the final surfaces, cabinetry, lighting and finishes came together, the existing space had to be stripped back, prepared and rebuilt through a sequence of coordinated works.
The process involved decisions around:
• Layout and functionality
• Cabinetry and storage
• Materials and finishes
• Electrical and service requirements
• Lighting
• Countertop and backsplash
• Final detailing and finishing
The objective was not simply to make the kitchen look different.
It was to create a space that was more functional, better organised and visually coherent with the home.
This is the part of renovation that is often less visible in the final photograph - the planning, coordination and ex*****on that happen before the finished space comes together.

A well-planned office is not just about how the finished space looks. It is also about how every element is designed, coordinated and prepared before installation.

As part of our ongoing JE office renovation project, custom furniture is currently being manufactured to meet the requirements of the workspace.

The scope includes:

- Employee workstations
- Overhead storage cabinets
- Printer station
- Wooden workstation partitions
- CEO office executive furniture
- Credenza, side rack and centre table
- Tea bar and other supporting elements

From panel cutting and edge finishing to the preparation of individual components, each stage contributes to bringing the overall workspace together.

The furniture is currently in production, with the next stage being delivery and installation at the project site.

At KROFTONS, we believe that the quality of a finished workspace is shaped by the planning, coordination and ex*****on that happen long before handover.

From construction in progress to a completed workplace.

A look back at one of Krofton's office project, completed in 2022.

The first photograph captures the space while work was underway. The second shows the completed office, where the various elements came together to create a functional working environment.

Every finished space has a story behind it - from the work carried out on site to the coordination of different elements and the attention given to the final outcome.

For us at Kroftons, the objective is not simply to complete a space, but to deliver an environment that serves its intended purpose.

Good furniture is not just about how it looks. It's about how well it is made.

We recently visited the carpenter's workshop to inspect a custom furniture set made for a private client.

The set includes an executive desk, side rack and credenza, with the furniture now at the inspection stage before it moves to the client's space.

One of the things I pay close attention to at this stage is the quality of the actual workmanship - the finishing, detailing, edges, proportions and overall ex*****on.

A drawing or design may define what a piece of furniture is supposed to look like.

The workshop is where that design has to become reality.

In this case, I was genuinely satisfied with the product and finish quality.

Another important part of delivering a project is making sure the quality meets the standard before it reaches the client.

Inspect. Refine. Deliver.

The finished furniture starts with the right material choices.

As the JE office renovation progresses, some of the next decisions are happening away from the construction site.

We recently visited the Patex Experience Centre to select laminate finishes for the office furniture.

The selections include combinations for the staff workstations and overhead cabinets, as well as the furniture for the boss's office.

For the boss's office, the main laminate selected is Patex EP-151, Texture #12, with German White EP-1000, Texture #09 being used as an accent for the credenza top.

These choices will eventually become part of the finished furniture, so getting the combination right at this stage matters.

Select carefully. Coordinate properly. Then build.

The transformation is starting to become visible.

At the JE office project, the renovation has now moved well beyond the initial demolition and setting-out stages.

Wall preparation, ceiling work and electrical services are progressing across the different areas of the office, with the various elements of the fit-out beginning to come together.

At this stage, much of the work is still behind the finished appearance - but this is where the foundations of that finished space are being established.

Every wall, ceiling, electrical point and service route needs to work with what comes next.

The project is moving forward one stage at a time, with the finished office gradually taking shape.

From demolition to preparation, services and finishing - the transformation continues.

From setting out to installation.

At the JE office project, the electrical work has now moved into the next stage.

Following the setting-out, wall cutting and fixing of the back boxes, the electrical conduits are now being installed along the prepared routes.

You can see the horizontal and vertical runs taking shape across the walls, connecting the different electrical points.

What eventually disappears behind the finished wall is being carefully positioned now.

The sequence matters:

Measure.
Mark.
Cut.
Fix.
Run.

Another stage of the transformation is now taking shape.

The next stage of the renovation has started.

At one of the office renovation projects, the electrical team has now moved into setting out and marking the walls before cutting and installation begins.

Levels, dimensions and positions are being marked against the existing wall reference line so that the electrical points can be placed correctly.

It may look like a small step on site, but getting these positions right before cutting begins is an important part of keeping the work coordinated and reducing avoidable rework later.

Measure. Mark. Cut. Install.

The transformation continues.
