Often described as the “United Nations of Mathematics,” this annual gathering brings together delegates from over 110 countries to shape the future of the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition (IKMC) — the world’s largest school-level mathematics competition, with more than 7 million students from 120+ countries participating each year.
During the congress, members collaborated to finalize the official IKMC 2026 question sets, exchanged global educational insights, and reaffirmed a shared mission: to make mathematics engaging, accessible, and truly borderless.
🇧🇭 Bahrain now joins this global academic community, with the first-ever International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition (IKMC) in the Kingdom of Bahrain scheduled for April 2026, inviting schools across the country to celebrate problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
