🏴 حضرت عباسؑ کے علم کا مشہور واقعہ 🏴
کربلا میں جب پیاس اپنی انتہا کو پہنچ گئی تو حضرت عباسؑ نے اپنے بھائی امام حسینؑ کے حکم پر علمِ وفا اٹھایا اور فرات کی طرف روانہ ہوئے۔ آپؑ نے دشمن کی صفوں کو چیرتے ہوئے پانی تک رسائی حاصل کر لی۔
جب آپؑ نے پانی اپنے ہاتھوں میں لیا تو اپنی شدید پیاس کے باوجود فرمایا:
"اے نفس! حسینؑ کے بعد زندگی کی کوئی قیمت نہیں، حسینؑ اور ان کے اہلِ بیت پیاسے ہوں اور عباس پانی پی لے، یہ وفا نہیں!"
آپؑ نے پانی نہ پیا اور مشکیزہ بھر کر خیموں کی طرف روانہ ہوئے۔ راستے میں دشمن نے حملہ کیا، دونوں بازو قلم کر دیے گئے، مگر حضرت عباسؑ نے علم اور مشکیزہ کو زمین پر نہ گرنے دیا۔ اسی بے مثال وفا، قربانی اور بھائی سے محبت کی وجہ سے آج بھی حضرت عباسؑ کو علمدارِ کربلا اور بابُ الحوائج کہا جاتا ہے۔
