Story
A poor slave descended into a dark forest. He had run away from his cruel master. He was tired, hungry, and full of vulnerability. Suddenly, a huge lion walked toward him. The slave wanted to run. But he stopped. The lion was in pain. A sharp thorn was stuck deep in its paw. The slave felt compassion for the beast. He knelt down with meticulous care. With great determination, he pulled the thorn out. The lion licked his hand gently. They became true friends. They lived together in tranquility in a forest cave.
Days later, soldiers found the slave. They arrested him and brought him before the king. The king ordered him thrown before a hungry lion. It seemed an insurmountable end. The crowd gathered in silence. The lion charged at full speed. Then it stopped. It sniffed the slave. It licked his feet with love. It was the same lion. The king was moved by this extraordinary feat. He recognised the slave's expertise in the language of kindness. He set them both free. One act of kindness had saved two lives. 03004655305
