A little late, but definitely worth the wait! ✨

The long-awaited Welcome Party for our 4th Semester finally came to life, and it turned out to be an evening full of laughter, culture and beautiful memories. From the cake cutting and Director’s speech to Balochi Chaap, Attan and an evening filled with Pashto, Balochi and traditional musical performances — every moment had its own charm.

A very special and heartfelt thank you to our entire student management team. 🤍 From managing the stage and performances to everything behind the scenes, food arrangements and all the little details in between — you made sure everything came together beautifully. Every person involved deserves appreciation for the effort, time and energy they put into making this evening happen.

And a huge thank you to the university management for allowing us the space to celebrate, connect and keep our traditions alive.

Some events end when the lights go off; some leave behind memories. This one definitely did. ✨

A Leader Who Leads by Being Among Us.

Leadership is not always about standing above others; sometimes, it is about standing with them.

Since taking the helm of our School of Law, our Director has brought a renewed sense of discipline, professionalism, connection, and belonging. His presence has transformed not only the decorum of the institution, but also the way students connect with their leadership.

What makes him truly special is his connection with every student. Whether in the classroom, at an event, or in an ordinary moment, he remains approachable, supportive, and present. Around him, students feel comfortable enough to speak, share, learn, and simply be themselves.

To many, he is our Director.
To his students, he is a mentor, a leader, and a friend.

These moments capture more than photographsthey capture the bond between a leader and the students he inspires.

A leader who guides.
A mentor who listens.
A Director who connects.

Some leaders lead from behind a desk; some choose to be part of the moment.

Syed Zahoor Agha, Director, BUITEMS School of Law, is often seen stepping beyond the formalities of his position and genuinely engaging with students—whether in academic spaces or simple creative activities like this one. These little moments may seem ordinary, but they make students feel seen, heard, and connected to their institution.

It is this warmth and willingness to participate alongside students that makes his presence on campus truly special. A director who doesn’t just lead the students, but also takes the time to be one with them. Truly a gem and a blessing for our campus.✨

Today’s session with Zahoor Alkozai provided an insightful introduction to the fundamentals, structure, rules, and practical techniques of parliamentary debating. From understanding the roles of speakers to building arguments and effective rebuttals, the session offered participants a practical understanding of how debates are conducted.

The session concluded with an engaging mock Asian Parliamentary Debate, where two teams put the concepts into practice.

Government Bench
• Prime Minister: Hameeda Khan
• Deputy Prime Minister: Aqsa Farooq
• Government Whip: Samreena Kakar

Opposition Bench
• Leader of Opposition: Sara Khan
• Deputy Leader of Opposition: Hafsa Humayun
• Opposition Whip: Abdul Waris

The mock debate provided a practical demonstration of argument construction, rebuttal, team strategy, points of engagement, and speaker roles, giving students an opportunity to experience the dynamics of parliamentary debate firsthand.

A valuable session for anyone looking to understand not just what debating is, but how to actually debate.

Special thanks to Zahoor Alkozai for sharing his expertise and guiding us through the fundamentals of parliamentary debating.I
