Old books nobody has finished but nobody wants to move.
Blue sofas that make you forget you had anywhere else to be.
Fresh flowers on tables that have seen decades of dinners.

You can’t replicate this with a minimalist catalogue.
Some rooms are built.
This one was lived in first.

Is it impulsive? Maybe.
Is it a problem? Debatable.
Has it ever been wrong? Not once.

The Morada was one of those decisions.
Almeirim. Central Portugal.
Private heated pool.
Pizza oven. Games room. Free bikes.
1 hour from Lisbon, Sintra and Nazaré.
Named after a grandmother who never once overthought a good thing.

Some decisions don’t need three rounds of thinking.
They just need a DM. 😄

The end of August hits different when you spent it right. 🤍
Not in a airport queue.
Not in a hotel that looked better in the photos.
Not counting down the days until you’re back at your desk.

At a private villa in Central Portugal
where the pool was always warm
and September felt like something you chose
instead of something that happened to you.

There’s still time.
Just about.
