New Project in Alicante, Spain: Merging lifestyle, architecture, and smart logistics! 🚀🎨

We are thrilled to share a sneak peek of our latest project under the Spanish sun. Our client needed a 116.4 m² guest house combined with an open workshop - a dedicated space to host family and pursue their passion for ceramics.

The main goal? It had to look like a natural extension of their already existing house, mimicking its exact style.

This project perfectly highlights the major advantages of the Senmar method:
🔹 Versatility & Speed: Prefabrication allows us to replicate existing architectural styles with extreme precision, delivering a fast solution that aligns with the main property.
🔹 Logistical Agility: Restricted plot? Tight roads? No problem. When our large transport lorry couldn't access the site, our team on the ground quickly adapted, transferring the materials into smaller vans to deliver everything smoothly in batches.

Engineered with top-tier thermal efficiency (145mm frame and 50mm facade), this workshop is built to stay cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

We’ve officially handed over the keys, and the new owners are already moved in and enjoying their space.

This project was the perfect challenge for our prefabrication system. Built on a tight and restricted plot of land, our method allowed us to measure, fit, and execute the assembly flawlessly without the space, noise, or waste of a traditional construction site.

A full turnkey solution - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 97 m² of thoughtfully designed usable space, all delivered with A+ energy efficiency. Everything handled, nothing compromised.

The assembly is officially underway in Tuscany region, Italy! 🏗️✨

We are incredibly proud to partner with a local Italian building company on this project. After years of traditional concrete construction, they trusted Senmar to deliver their very first timber-frame development.

This project showcases exactly why we build off-site. The entire structure was manufactured at our high-tech facility in Coja, Portugal. The panels were then loaded, transported, and are now being rapidly assembled on the Italian coast - saving the developer months of traditional site work and weather delays.

What makes this house special?
Aside from the beautiful custom Travi a vista (exposed beam) roof and upcoming roof terrace, the true magic is in the engineering. We utilized traditional Japanese-style joinery. The timber frames connect perfectly through interlocking male and female joints. That means absolutely zero metal screws, brackets, or corners were used to fasten the structural wood. Just pure, precise engineering.
