In our quest to bring innovative real estate solutions to members/intending members of The Rejoice-Alabi & Friends Real Estate Cooperative SocietyLtd, drive inclusion and low barrier access to property ownership and expand participation in the agricultural value chain, we are delighted to announce/reaffirm our partnership with leading property technology & real estate digital transformation startup TLX Ltd.

For the agricultural component of our objectives as a uniquely youthful and tech driven real estate cooperative, we will be unveiling another partnership before the end of the week, by the grace of God, to help our members participate in the burgeoning agric-real estate industry.

In late May 2025...

I was leading a team of about 25 real estate executives in the capital of Delta State.

At the time, there was a lull in sales due to some ongoing market and online rumbles.

On one of the days (I usually had a daily briefing with the team), I lost my cool about the situation and challenged my team to think out of the box.

How do we sustain business operations and cashflow enough to run basic deliverables and pay ourselves?

I have heard some ignoramuses argue that some of us left because problems came. What they didn't know is that many of us chose to stay long enough to help manage and stabilize the issues even we could have decided otherwise. But that's talk for another day.

It was in the middle of that market rumble that I got the vision for Referee-Coop. What if the reason why sales dipped was because the entry barrier was too high?

I wore my intrapreneurship cap and created a fractional real estate ownership program where we could pool as low as N5000 to collectively acquire real estate as a group of buyers?

The answer to that question birthed The Rejoice-Alabi & Friends Real Estate Cooperative Society Ltd which we immediately got registered with the Delta State Department of Cooperatives, in accordance with the Nigeria Cooperative Societies Act.

More than one year later, I am proud of the progress we have made. From few members, we have grown to a dynamic team of about 40 registered members with a sizeable investment portfolio.

Today, I am delighted to announce our partnership with TLX Ltd, a property technology start-up revolutionizing the now and future of real estate with digital transformation.

Membership of Referee-Coop is open to young Nigerians from the age of 21 and above and our goal is to help as many Nigerians acquire and build a strong real estate portfolio through fractional ownership, by leveraging our strong and growing numbers.

In the days ahead, we will be curating and sharing verified real estate investment options for registered and prospective members, as we continue to reduce property inequalities and promote wealth distribution.

A new dawn is here!
