There is also a very good East to West train service, the station being about 5 minutes walk away. This can be used to venture into nearby Tavira or indeed explore further East. The airport at Faro is approximately 35 minutes away.
Cabanas itself has a small health centre with a larger one in Tavira.
There are many excellent bars and restaurants in Cabanas.
