1,038 units was sold in May 2023, 17% higher than April 2023. This increase in demand was fuelled by the launch of The Continuum and The Reserve Residences.
The Continuum attracted many buyers as it is the first freehold project with a land size of over 200,000 sq ft in the Katong area in almost 20 years. The Reserve Residences is the first and only integrated transport hub (ITH) development in Bukit Timah, which was also favoured by buyers for its convenience and rarity.
Nevertheless, the property market saw a decrease in proportion of purchases by foreigners partly due to the recent cooling measures, which its full effects will be evident in June.
Upcoming launches in July include Altura (EC), Grand Dunman, Lentor Hills Residences, Mattar Residences, Orchard Sophia, Pine Tree Hill, The Lakegarden Residences and The Myst. The market is expected to sell about 8,000 units with prices increasing up to 5% in 2023.
