This year, net inflows of 2,800 are expected, representing an 87% increase over the figure of 1,500 in 2019.

This places Singapore third, behind the UAE and Australia. Israel, Switzerland, and the United States are among the top ten countries with the highest inflow of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). Portugal, Greece, Canada, and New Zealand are among the countries on the list.

Singapore recorded total property investment sales of $9.4 billion in 1Q2022, maintaining the "encouraging pace" set in the latter half of last year.

The award of government land sales (GLS) sites, combined with significant commercial deals, drove the increase in sales in 1Q2022. This brought commercial sales to $5.8 billion in the first quarter of 2022.

The relaxation of Covid-19 measures, which went into effect on March 29, is also expected to increase investor inflows, potentially increasing demand for luxury non-landed homes and reviving the retail and hospitality sectors.
