Please do not make a HDB purchase decision based on SERS alone.
Government has mentioned that at most 5% HDB will be chosen for SERS and with this latest example of SERS in Ang Mo Kio, some owners still have to top up to get a replacement flat.

A property agent suggested downsizing to a smaller flat.

Interesting article to have a quick gauge of how much you'll need to upgrade. Many HDB owners saved up quite a fair bit during their MOP but one of the common issues facing upgraders is that they have to sacrifice their spacious HDB to upgrade.

The EC example used in the article shows the family moving from a 3 bedroom 4rm HDB to a 2 bedroom EC. Will that work for all families?
