You passed TDSR… so why did your HDB loan get rejected? 🤔

Because TDSR isn’t the only gate.
There’s another one many buyers miss — MSR.

Here’s the catch:
✔️ TDSR = up to 55% of income (after debts)
✔️ MSR = only 30% for housing loan

And the lower limit always wins.

That means even high earners can get capped —
sometimes resulting in a $400K difference in loan, which can mean losing an entire room size in today’s market.

Small details matter:
Clearing just $200/month in debt could increase your loan eligibility by $50K+.
