Most buyers spend weeks comparing:
• floor plans
• PSF prices
• stack facing
• MRT distance
But almost nobody studies the developer behind the project.
That may need to change.
Singapore has announced stricter action against errant developers — including possible bans from future land sales and restrictions on selling projects.
And while this policy targets developers, buyers should pay attention too.
Because when you buy a new launch, you’re not just buying a unit.
You’re also placing trust in:
* the developer’s financial strength
* ex*****on capability
* delivery track record
* and ability to navigate market pressure
A beautiful showroom does not automatically mean low risk.
Moving forward, prudent buyers may need to evaluate more than just:
“Can I afford this?”
But also:
“Who exactly am I buying from?”
Especially in today’s market.
