Thrilled to share a new chapter in my professional journey!

Over the past year, I’ve been actively exploring cross-border real estate opportunities across the region. Following initial discussions last summer with Ashley Wee on Hong Kong properties, I conducted on-the-ground market research in Hong Kong, reconnecting with trusted clients, real estate partners, and specialized service providers in sectors like Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).

After months of analyzing market trends and consulting with clients in Singapore, this journey brought together key partners across Taiwan, Shanghai, Japan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia to discuss building a unified global capital markets network.

I am excited to announce that we have officially signed our MOU and strategic agreement to join the Vestasia Group platform. Stepping into the role of Director, Capital Markets at Vestasia Group, I look forward to combining our regional strengths, driving impactful cross-border transactions, and delivering exceptional value for our clients.

[SINGAPORE] The government moved to curb rising speculative buying in Singapore’s residential property market, increasing the seller’s stamp duty rates by 4 per cent and extending the holding period that SSD applies from three to four years. Read more at The Business Times.

The Government announced today the following changes to the Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD) for residential properties: (a) increase of the holding period from three to four years, and (b) increase of the SSD rates by four percentage points for each tier of the holding period. These changes will take effect for all residential properties purchased on and after 4 July 2025, 12.00am. The revised SSD will not affect HDB owners due to the Minimum Occupation Period for HDB flats.
