🚨 Big policy change!

Private property owners no longer need to wait 15 months before buying a resale HDB.

But don’t stop reading there…

Many people missed the important detail.

If they need an HDB loan, CPF Housing Grants, or want to buy a subsidised flat, they still need to complete a 30-month wait-out period.

So what does this actually mean for the resale market?

✅ More private property owners may enter the resale market sooner.

✅ Cash-rich buyers could become more active.

❗However, not every HDB seller will automatically benefit. Buyers who rely on HDB financing or grants are still subject to the 30-month rule, so demand and pricing could differ depending on the type of flat and buyer profile.

If you’re thinking of selling, don’t rely on headlines alone. Understanding how this policy affects your specific home is much more important.
