During our National Day celebrations, our Principal, Ms Alice, was honoured to receive a memento from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) in recognition of the strong and continued support provided by the ITE College West CD Lionhearter Club (Led by our own Mr Robin) over the years.

We are grateful for the partnership and the opportunities it has provided our students to contribute to the community through meaningful volunteer work and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

A special thanks to our dedicated colleagues for encouraging and supporting our students to be part of the Lionhearter Club. Your guidance plays an important role in nurturing our students to become responsible individuals who are committed to giving back to the community.

Together, we continue to empower our students to serve, contribute and make a positive difference

We were honoured to welcome Mr Abu Bakar, Chairman of the Workplace Safety and Health Council, as the Guest of Honour at the *Higher Education & Research Forum 2026*, organised by the Higher Education & Research Workgroup and Departmenr of Built Environment, ITE College West, supported by the Workplace Safety & Health Council.

With this year’s theme, “Redefining Workplace Safety in the Age of AI,” the forum brought together industry professionals, educators, and students to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming workplace safety and health practices.

A heartfelt thank you to our Guest of Honour, distinguished speakers - Dr Melvyn Zhang, LTC Chen Yong Kai, Dr Paul Cheak — and participants for making the forum a meaningful platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation. Together, we continue to shape safer, smarter and more resilient workplaces.

Last night, we were delighted to welcome more than 600 parents and students to the School of Engineering – Meet the Parents Session 2026.

A heartfelt thank you to all parents for taking their time to attend and engage with your child’s Class Advisors. Your support and involvement play an important role in your child’s educational journey and growth.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our dedicated lecturers and staff who worked tirelessly throughout the evening, guiding parents around our labs, sharing students’ progress, and providing valuable insights into their learning journey.

We hope the session was both meaningful and insightful, and that the discussions with the Class Advisors strengthened the partnership between home and school.
