Most parents picking a preschool ask one question: "Is the teacher good?"
That is the wrong question.
The question that actually predicts how prepared your child will be by Primary 1 is: "How many specialist teachers will my child see every week?"
For most preschools in Singapore, the answer is one or two.
For our Early Learning Village, the answer is five. From 18 months.
We were named Singapore's Best Preschool of the Year. The reason was not the campus, the size, or the fees. It was structural.
Most preschools rely on one homeroom teacher to deliver the entire day: literacy, numeracy, music, art, movement, language. Even when those teachers are excellent, no single educator delivers specialist-level instruction across five different domains.
The gap shows up later. By Primary 1, you can see which children had years of specialist input and which did not. By then, it is no longer the most efficient time to close it.
Here is what runs every week at our Early Learning Village, from 18 months onwards:
🎻 Suzuki Music. Every child in PreK, KG1, and KG2 learns violin and cello with a Suzuki-trained instructor. Builds fine motor skills, focus, and the discipline of mastering something difficult.
🌏 Bilingual PreK. Mandarin-English in a one-teacher immersion model. Tens of hours of Mandarin every week across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
🌎 Spanish from 18 months. Daily, taught by a specialist language teacher within the natural language acquisition window.
🎨 Art & Design from KG1. Dedicated time with a specialist who develops visual expression and spatial reasoning.
🏃 Moving Smart PE. Purpose-built early childhood movement. Develops the physical-cognitive connections that underpin reading, writing, and focused learning.
This is how our Reggio-inspired curriculum operates day to day. Specialists, not extras.

Our Saturday Early Years Open House is the one window where you can meet our specialist teachers, walk the campus, and see a typical day for yourself. Not a glossy presentation. The real thing.
Saturday slots fill faster than weekday Open Houses. Spots are limited.
