A Home That Couldn’t Be Sold for Over a Year, Finally Sold.
Mdm Rajes connected with me all the way from Canada, hoping to sell her Singapore home after more than a year without success.
The biggest challenge was the Ethnic Integration Policy restriction, which significantly limited the pool of eligible buyers.
We submitted appeals and continued searching. Just before we had to write a third appeal, we found a mixed-race buyer who was eligible and willing to offer an attractive price.
Meeting Mdm Rajes for dinner before she leaves Singapore for good felt surreal. It reminded me how quickly time had passed since our first conversation from afar.
What I value most about my work is seeing the relief on an elderly client’s face when a long-standing property matter is finally settled. At this stage of life, many simply want to be free from assets, liabilities and uncertainty, so they can enjoy the years ahead with peace of mind.
Some homes take longer to sell. Some require appeals, patience and a more determined strategy. The right buyer can still be found.
Is your home affected by an ethnic quota restriction or struggling to attract an eligible buyer? Send me a message and let us discuss the options available.
