Important considerations to take note if you’re thinking of purchasing an older resale flat (lower overall quantum):

1) Do not see the flats as investment assets which will give u returns in the future. It might be ok for own stay.
2) Prices tend to plateau or even decline as the age of ur flat progresses.
3) SERS/VERS are rare - choose ur location very wisely if you are hoping for it.
4) Have contingencies in case u live longer than the flat.
