The HDB income ceiling is the maximum average gross monthly household income allowed to qualify for certain public housing schemes in Singapore. For most Build-To-Order (BTO) flats and Sale of Balance Flats, the household income ceiling is S$14,000 per month, while new Executive Condominiums (ECs) have a ceiling of S$16,000 per month. Singles applying for a 2-room Flexi flat are subject to a S$7,000 income ceiling. The assessment is based on gross monthly income before CPF deductions and includes the income of all applicants listed in the application. Although there is no income ceiling for purchasing a resale HDB flat, income limits may apply when applying for housing grants or an HDB concessionary loan.
