Don’t believe everything you hear about upgrading from BTO to private 🏠➡️ Most people only look at the price tag and think it’s impossible. They forget about the equity you’ve built over the years. Clarity first.

Break down YOUR numbers: CPF refund, cash proceeds, stamp duties, fees & loan eligibility. The real question isn’t whether you can afford the downpayment, it’s whether your income can support the loan comfortably!

Everyone’s situation is very different. Don’t assume. The answers you hear online or from friends may not be the most accurate for YOUR situation. Seek expert advice first. It may not always be a YES, it may not always be a NO. Because at the end of the day, the decision is yours to make 🍳

Many buyers avoid them because resale demand is usually smaller and price growth tends to be slower. But there’s another side to the story 👇

✨ Ground-floor units are often priced lower by developers at launch
✨ Lower entry price means a bigger buffer if the market slows
✨ In some cases, you don’t need prices to rise as much to achieve similar returns

Meanwhile, higher-floor units generally enjoy stronger demand and better appreciation 📈 But they also come with a higher upfront cost.
