The Deputy Governor of WBGS today held a consultative meeting with the Chairperson of WBGS Students’ Association at his office. During the meeting, Chairperson Majok Makuac highlighted key challenges currently facing the Association, particularly regarding the preparations for the upcoming welcoming ceremony for newly admitted students and the farewell event for graduating students.
He emphasized the importance of these activities in strengthening unity, mentorship, and continuity within the student community, while also noting the financial and logistical constraints affecting their successful implementation.
In response, the Deputy Governor appreciated the efforts and commitment of the student leadership and acknowledged the significance of the planned events. He further pledged his full support towards ensuring the success of both the welcoming and farewell ceremonies, assuring the Association of his office’s cooperation and assistance in addressing the identified challenges.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to work collaboratively for the progress and welfare of WBGS students in Juba.

We, the leadership and members of WBGS Students’ Association, express our deepest and heartfelt condolences to our Chairman and his entire family on the passing of his beloved father, Makuac Majok.
We are deeply saddened by this great loss. The death of a parent is one of the most painful moments in life, and we share in your grief during this difficult time. We pray that God grants you and your family strength, comfort, and courage to bear this loss.
May the soul of the late Makuac Majok rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy of love, guidance, and wisdom continue to live on through his children and family.
Please know that the WBGS Students’ Association stands with you in solidarity and support during this time of mourning. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

OFFICIAL APPOINTMENT OF FUNDRAISING EVENT COMMITTEE.

The Office of the Chairperson of WBGS Students’ Association in Universities and Higher Institutions in Juba hereby announces the appointment of the Fundraising Event Committee.
In line with the Association’s commitment to strengthening its programs and supporting student welfare, the Chairperson, Comrade Majok Makuac, has constituted a committee tasked with organizing and coordinating all activities related to the upcoming fundraising event.

The appointed committee is mandated to:

1. Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
2. Mobilize resources and engage potential partners and stakeholders.
3. Plan and execute the fundraising event successfully.
4. Ensure transparency and accountability throughout the process.
This initiative aims to enhance the progress and sustainability of the Association’s activities, while fostering unity and collective responsibility among members.

The leadership of the WBGS Students' Association in Universities and Higher Institutes in Juba convened a meeting that brought together the three organs of the Association, namely the Executives, Councillors, and Advisors.
The meeting focused on discussing the current situation of the Association and identifying practical ways to strengthen its operations. Members exchanged ideas and proposed various strategies aimed at improving coordination, unity, and active participation among WBGS students in different institutions.

During the deliberations, the leadership agreed to introduce multiple activities and programs that will promote the progress and visibility of the Association. These activities will focus on strengthening academic cooperation, enhancing communication among members, promoting student welfare, and encouraging collective responsibility in advancing the objectives of the Association.
The participants emphasized the importance of teamwork, commitment, and consistent engagement of all members to ensure the success of the planned activities. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from the three organs to continue working together in order to achieve the goals and aspirations of WBGS students in universities and higher institutes in Juba.
