The Deputy Governor of WBGS today held a consultative meeting with the Chairperson of WBGS Students’ Association at his office. During the meeting, Chairperson Majok Makuac highlighted key challenges currently facing the Association, particularly regarding the preparations for the upcoming welcoming ceremony for newly admitted students and the farewell event for graduating students.
He emphasized the importance of these activities in strengthening unity, mentorship, and continuity within the student community, while also noting the financial and logistical constraints affecting their successful implementation.
In response, the Deputy Governor appreciated the efforts and commitment of the student leadership and acknowledged the significance of the planned events. He further pledged his full support towards ensuring the success of both the welcoming and farewell ceremonies, assuring the Association of his office’s cooperation and assistance in addressing the identified challenges.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to work collaboratively for the progress and welfare of WBGS students in Juba.
