Background of Community Empowerment and Peace Development Organization South Sudan (CEPDOSS)
The Community Empowerment and Peace Development Organization South Sudan (CEPDOSS) is a youth-led, community-based organization established to promote peacebuilding, community empowerment, and support for vulnerable populations across South Sudan, with a strong focus on hard-to-reach and underserved areas.
CEPDOSS was founded in response to persistent challenges facing local communities, including intercommunal conflict, limited access to basic services, youth marginalization, and weak grassroots peace mechanisms. The organization works directly with communities to strengthen local capacities, promote peaceful coexistence, and improve social resilience through volunteer-driven and community-owned initiatives.
One of CEPDOSS’s key strengths is its ability to operate effectively in remote and hard-to-reach locations where many organizations are unable to work. Through its local networks and community-based approach, CEPDOSS ensures that interventions are context-specific, inclusive, and sustainable.

Official Launch Announcement
On behalf of the CEPDOSS management, we are pleased to inform our partners, stakeholders, and the general public that the CEPDOSS officials were officially launched in Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA).
CEPDOSS warmly welcomes all well-wishers, partners, and institutions to support and collaborate with the organization in advancing peace, community empowerment, and humanitarian support. CEPDOSS is committed to voluntary service for the benefit of vulnerable communities and remains dedicated to reaching areas that are often inaccessible to other organizations.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all partners and stakeholders who witnessed and participated in the launch program held yesterday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Your presence and support contributed significantly to the success of this milestone.
