โปรเจกต์นี้เริ่มต้นจากแนวคิดในการสร้างโฮมออฟฟิศบนพื้นที่ว่างภายในบริเวณบ้าน ขนาดประมาณ 64 ตารางเมตร พร้อมกับวางแผนรีโนเวทบ้านเดิมบางส่วนเพื่อรองรับการใช้งานในอนาคต
สำหรับการปรับปรุงบ้านเดิม ไม่ได้มุ่งเน้นเพียงแค่ปรับรูปลักษณ์ภายนอกให้สวยงามขึ้นเท่านั้น แต่ยังคำนึงถึงการแก้ปัญหาที่มีอยู่เดิม เช่น ลดความร้อนจากแสงแดดในทิศทางที่กระทบตัวบ้าน เสริมความเป็นส่วนตัวจากสายตาภายนอก เพิ่มพื้นที่เก็บของภายใน และปรับเปลี่ยนตำแหน่งห้องครัวให้เหมาะสมกับการใช้งานมากยิ่งขึ้น
ในส่วนของโฮมออฟฟิศที่สร้างใหม่ ได้รับการออกแบบให้มีความเรียบง่าย ไม่รบกวนพื้นที่ของเพื่อนบ้านโดยรอบ ขณะเดียวกันก็ใช้พื้นที่ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด โดยคำนึงถึงคุณภาพของวัสดุและกระบวนการก่อสร้างให้อยู่ภายใต้งบประมาณที่สามารถดำเนินการได้จริง
This project started with the idea of turning some unused space in the yard—about 64 square meters—into a home office. At the same time, there were plans to renovate part of the existing house to make it more practical for future use.
The house renovation wasn’t just about making it look nicer from the outside. It also focused on solving some existing problems, like reducing heat from sunlight hitting certain parts of the house, adding more privacy from outside views, creating extra storage, and moving the kitchen to a spot that works better for everyday use.
As for the new home office, it was designed to be simple and not disturb the neighbors, while still making the most of the available space. The materials and construction methods were carefully chosen to stay within a realistic budget without sacrificing quality.
