The Pathum Thani Model Housing Development Project is an integrated housing development initiative that addresses informal settlements located along public canals while improving residents' living conditions and restoring public waterways. Developed under Baan Mankong Programme, the project demonstrates how collaboration among government agencies, local authorities, academic institutions, and community organizations can create sustainable housing solutions that benefit both communities and the public.

how secure land tenure, community organization, and modern agriculture can work together to improve
the livelihoods of rural low-income families. Unlike the original Baan Mankong Programme, which focuses
primarily on urban housing, the rural model integrates secure housing, farmland, agricultural
development, and community enterprise into a single development approach.
