عــدد ركـعـاتـهـا
أقلها ركعتين وأفضلها ثمانية وأكثرها ...
ومن حديث عائشة رضي الله عنها ، أنها قالت :
(كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى أَرْبَعًا ، وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ)

كيفية أدائها
يصلي الإنسان مثْنى مثنى ،أي يصلي ركعتين ثم يسلم ثم يقوم ويصلي ركعتين ويسلم
ويتابع هكذا حتى ينهي عدد الركعات التي كان ينوي أن يصليها
