Last week, I decided to run a little experiment.

Every time my phone rang, I made a note of why the person was calling.

On average, I received over 200 calls per day. 📞

By the end of the week, the results were fascinating.

Most callers wanted to know the price of a property. The price was already listed.

Many wanted to know if a property was available. The property had already been marked rented or sold.

Others wanted to know the location. The location was already included in the description and, in many cases, shown on a map.

As I looked through my notes, I found myself thinking about how much time we spend putting information in place that many people never seem to notice.

Then I realized something.

The information was never there for the people who would ignore it.

It was there for the people who wouldn't.

The people who take the time to read.

The people who follow the process.

The people who complete the pre screening before requesting a viewing.

The people who pay attention to the details.

Interestingly, those are often the same people who become my best clients.

What I once viewed as extra work, I now see as a filter. ✨

Not everyone is meant to be your customer.

Not everyone is meant to be your audience.

And not every effort needs to produce a result that everyone can see.
