We have made a conscious commitment to never cut corners when it comes to construction quality — particularly where it matters most for the longevity of your investment. From waterproofing and insulation to the quality of materials and finishes, every element is carefully considered.
Inside our residences, we specify reputable, internationally recognised brands, including Daikin air conditioning in every living space and Kohler sanitaryware in the bathrooms.
And then there is our commitment to Zanzibar. 🌴
Vela is proudly Green Status, with sustainability integrated into the way we design and operate. Our fully integrated solar system is designed to provide the majority of our energy requirements, supported by two backup generators and a connection to the municipal grid.
Our water systems incorporate advanced purification and filtration technology, with treated water being recycled as grey water for irrigation, helping us maintain our lush tropical gardens while reducing unnecessary water consumption.
For us, sustainability isn’t a marketing statement. It is about building responsibly today, while respecting Zanzibar and its natural environment for generations to come.
