Команда SATI Architects працює над повною трансформацією лобі-бару в одному з найвідоміших готельних комплексів України — «Три сини та донька 5*».

Наша мета — щоб перше враження гостей було не просто позитивним, а справжнім «вау!»

Для цього ми повністю переосмислили архітектуру простору, акценти, матеріали та сам бар.

We are excited to share a new, truly landmark project!

The SATI Architects team is working on the complete transformation of the lobby bar at one of Ukraine’s most renowned hotel complexes — «Try Syny ta Donka 5».*

Our goal was to make the guests‘ first impression not just positive, but a genuine «wow!» experience.

To achieve this, we completely reimagined the architecture of the space, its accents, materials, and the bar itself.

It’s no longer just a functional area — it’s a space that elevates the status of the entire hotel complex.

We believe a home should reflect its inhabitants, and this interior does just that—infusing the space with the energy of a family that treasures lively gatherings, celebrations, and laid-back weekends at home.

We focused on using natural materials and handcrafting throughout the space. Starting with the kitchen island and dining table, both carved from travertine, and continuing with the kitchen cabinets, covered in walnut burl veneer, each with its unique grain.

The interior of Family Villa is a masterful fusion of styles—cozy, plush furniture meets the bold textures, all balanced in a warm color palette and soft, rounded forms.

A skylight positioned directly above the seating area becomes a statement feature, casting shifting patterns of natural light throughout the day. It mimics the sun’s movement, filling the villa with a golden glow that perfectly suits the Gold Coast setting.

Undoubtedly, the heart of Family Villa is its open-plan top floor. More than just a living, dining, and kitchen area, it seamlessly extends onto an expansive balcony with a pool, hot tub, lounge, and grill zone. With a fully glazed back wall, the boundary between indoors and the breathtaking landscape simply disappears.

«With the stepped terrain, we essentially gave the ‘backyard’ a promotion—to the top floor. Every detail of this balcony invites you to live beyond walls, maximize the view, and soak up the sun. After all, who needs walls when the entire coastline is your backdrop?» — Alex, Chief Architect.

Located in the serene neighborhood of Currumbin, Gold Coast, this modern family residence embraces its stunning oceanfront setting. Through thoughtful design choices, the home achieves a seamless blend of luxurious aesthetics and lasting durability, with a cohesive concept flowing between the exterior and interior.

The cladding palette extends the warmth and texture of the nearby sandy shores, featuring a combination of natural travertine and microcement.

One particular detail that became a defining element of this project is the custom-designed pattern of wooden grids. Tasked with dividing the training space and entry zone, we opted for semi-transparent wooden dividers instead of solid walls. These grids reflect the very essence of Jiu-Jitsu. Their clean lines and structured forms embody discipline and technique, while the natural warmth of the wood symbolizes the art’s fluid adaptability.

The grids subtly delineate spaces while preserving openness. This design choice set the tone for other elements, inspiring an overarching theme of transparency — from glass doors to the dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the interior.

Designing the Igor Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in New York was as much about movement as stillness. The spatial planning mirrors the fluid discipline of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — dynamic yet composed, deliberate yet adaptable. Each area is designed with intention: an open reception and waiting zone seamlessly flows into the training area, creating an inviting sense of connection.

While the space is thoughtfully divided into functional zones, it retains the essence of unity through the use of weightless wooden grids in place of solid walls. These grids maintain openness, allowing light and energy to pass freely. Functionality leads the design, from a specially tailored training mat pattern to conveniently placed locker rooms.

We’re excited to unveil our collaboration with Igor Gracie and Igor Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in New York, brought to life by Sati Architects. Inspired by Jiu-Jitsu’s core values—respect, focus, and continuous improvement—we aimed to create a space that transcends technique, fostering personal growth on and off the mat.

By blending a neutral, natural palette and focusing on functionality, we’ve crafted an environment free from distractions—where tradition meets modernity, and unity thrives. We envision this academy becoming a cherished community cornerstone, carrying on the legendary Gracie Family legacy.

The Element Residential complex is designed as an oasis that nurtures a lifestyle of mindful living, family connection, and personal rejuvenation.

For the primary bedroom, we embraced a rich brown and sand palette that evokes warmth and sophistication. The design focuses on fewer elements but places greater emphasis on texture.

Mahogany wall panels, brass-toned torches, and a locally crafted coffee table bring subtle luxury to the space, creating a refined atmosphere while maintaining a deep connection to the surrounding environment.
